About

Barbara started her textile company in 2001 after several years trading decorative antiques and creating beautiful interiors for her clients.  She has owned retail designer fashion and lifestyle shops in the Cheshire town of Nantwich and the city of Chester.

She now specialises in unique hand-embroidered fabrics and accessories. Her experience in handling and sourcing old textiles became invaluable when designing her collection. Barbara comments 'I wanted to bring some of the quality from the beautifully crafted antique textiles to my new designs and I think this has been achieved successfully by using the traditional skills and techniques of hand-embroidery'.  She also recycles antique or vintage flags into fab, original handmade cushions and accessories. Barbara's designs have been featured in magazines including, Country Homes & Interiors, The English Home, Homes & Gardens, Period Living and Country Living. Her home in Cheshire appeared on a specially made programme for a television network entitled 'The eclectic home'.

Exquisitely hand-embroidered, designed with a lightness of touch, the collection is simple and unfussy, a flower head, dragonflies, Bees; motifs inspired by nature, classic and timeless...
