Inspiration is the lifeblood of Barbara Coupe. She is inspired by a wide-range of objects, ideas and thoughts...

I am inspired by many things, always nature, and living in the countryside I have no shortage of inspiration, but I have been a collector all my life and I absolutely love antique or vintage stuff; the gentle faded colours and textures of time-worn fabrics, beautiful 18th century drawings and paintings. My current favourite trend is typography, I collect old bus scrolls from redundant London Routemaster buses and these have given me so much inspiration...
New collections include a range of fab vintage style scarves in pure silk printed from our archive of antique/vintage flags, maps etc. True Brit Chic, these are actually Made in England. Chic Britannia!
I am also producing a collection of furniture, a particular favourite is a new ottoman upholstered in our specially made embroidered destination fabric, this will be available to buy later this year, (2011).
Please enjoy browsing through my online shop and if you have any queries, do get in touch.
Best wishes
Barbara x
PS Don't miss our range of fab products made from genuine vintage and antique textiles, all are unique.

Vintage Airstream Trailer, 'Tradewind' circa 1963
Completely renovated, (well, nearly finished) looking forward to the summer, weekends on the coast! I LOVE these vintage trailers. More pictures posted soon.
Update: Finally arrived and located on a headland overlooking the sea, now to find the time to go and stay...
Interior looking great, all in shades of grey and silver, very modern in contrast to the vintage exterior, and the luxury of a full sized SMEG fridge in black.
Some before pics of the interior shell before the refit...

And later after a new floor, new insulation, steel panelling, re-wire, re-plumb etc.etc.etc...

Of course we have used our own gingham fabric for the seat covers, ref: Q300 Grey, compliments the scheme perfectly.

The view!
More images to follow soon.
